Lovely portrait Colin.
The DoF and colours all pull together really well.
The lead image gives no idea of the surroundings, quite surprised it was so 'busy' around once V1 viewed.
That's some dress...

Thanks Dave
She was modelling it at some weird designer's show during a tattoo convention at Alexandra Palace
The dress was so heavy it took 3 guys to help her down the few steps from the catwalk!
Goodness knows how she managed on the bus home!

What a great pair of images Colin. That dress, what can you say. For me the lead image is really good.

The mod was a little strange as I thought the image was over saturated, which it wasn't.
There is a simple test for this which is: -
1. Open image and then duplicate.
2. On the duplicated layer change the blend to "Color" and set the opacity to 50%.
3. Now invert the duplicated layer by using "Ctrl+i".
If your image is OK it should be black and white. Any over saturation colour will bleed through the black and white.
Insert a "Hue/Sat between the two layers to adjust the colour that needs it" and then tuen off iverted layer.
Note sometimes you can't remove all colour but enough to make the image work.

The resulting black and white looked so good I just add a curves layer using the black and whiter pickers at the side.
Great image Colin and I hope you like the result.

It's all been said about the images, Colin but my take on it would be:
Did it take three guys to get her in and out of the loo?
I'm not a technical tog as you know...Wink

John, obviously the dress comes with its own internal loo, cistern and chain

Striking. Definitely not a wedding dress - nobody could carry the weight over the threshold...

Yep, she does look a bit flushed, Colin.Smile
