That's Lunch Then!

Back to my favourite spot on the Stour and the fact it's only ten minutes walk from home makes it even nicer....

I have popped the colour on this image as the Herons lunch was lost within the background... shortly after this shot the bird flew to the bank and hid the fish in the long grass then returned to fish for seconds.

V1 and V2 are a bit soft... but I couldn't resist the upload.

Many thanks for the interest in my White Hyacinth's always nice.

Great shots, especially to keep him in focus! No. 6 is a dead ringer for one of mine, which I suspect is the same bird at the same spot on the same river!!
