Even tremblier.

The colour version seems to "lift & separate" just a little better for me.

Looking at both, the trees seem to be moving on the screen. That may be because I need new glasses...

Thanks Dougie. I can't decide between them, b&w is colder, but I like blue sky being visible in the background right down to the base of the trees.

My sentiments exactly about so many B&W conversions I make. There's so often one thing lost for a different gain. The compensation is so many of your colour and B&W version work equally well.

not sure how a Playtex bra would help, but the colour version works equally as well 😂

Well I was tempted to respond Hello Boys. But of course I resisted.

Colour works but loses the mystery of the mono.

I prefer the mono version. This one doesn't ask the same questions.

Both are so good but the mono just pips it at the post for me. The colour is so good but doesn't have the same impact for me.

A case of the same but different. Very different. I've fully wound up the mainspring of the clockwork brain cell and concluded that the old adage proves true - at least for me; comparisons are odious. The mono rendition hints of the Wild Woods; the colour suggests that Mole and Ratty may not be so very far away. Both are striking and will find a place in The Ericsamson Gallery.
Poop, poop! Mr Toad.
PS. I have happy childhood memories of lifting and separating Play-Doh. What was Playtex then? Or was it Play-Tecs ... presumably a cheap Meccano alternative? Hello Toys! 🥴🥴🥴
PPS. You may wish to buff up one of these - whip out the Brasso! 🏆

I find that the colour version seemed to give more separation between the trees than the mono, due to sky blue reflections in the water.

Lovely reflections. To get to the water it looks a little spikey. Still no UA's available.

The colour for me as well by a pip ...whatever a pip is
there is wonderful movement thoughout the image and the colour picks up the movement better ...especially in the upper left quadrant ....I love it !
