The Acrobat.

A Green Shield-bug on top of a very tall stem of dying Lavender. It was there for hours in swirling winds - I managed a few shots between gusts. I don't know how it stayed on Lavender.

Thanks to Pete for the HC - teocali and PattiW for their UA's on previous image - well appreciated.

Thanks for stopping by.

The bug itself is full of texture and I find the background compliments it perfectly

Brilliant work Brian - I know how difficult macro is without a breath of wind, let alone a gale! John
