The Air of a King

Shot captured last April in low evening light while out birding at my favourite haunt.

Caught hold of this male Mallard as it flapped away after a good preen out over the water ..... releasing a short burst. Loved the freeze of this particular frame capturing the splendour of the moment ..... shot marginally cropped to home in on the action.
