The arch is no more

The changing landscape at Porthcothnan Bay, transformed after a storm on January 7th 2014.

This was my first visit since those storms when it was news that the arch had gone. To see how much had disappeared shows the frightening power of sea.

The attached version was taken back in May 2012 showing how the arch used to look.

As always, many thanks to those who have taken the time to look, vote and comment on on my recent uploads.

I think the latest shot creates a better shot to be honest but take in how time changes.

Quite sad to see it without the arch to be honest. Fascinating stuff though!Smile
