The Arran Isles

By Goggz
Taken from above Fanore, this was the second day of the West of Ireland Meet Smile

You can see the three Arran Isles, Inisheer, Inishmaan & Inishmore (from left to right).

Next time, Inshallah, I shall visit Inisheer...

I hope Tooth sees this, as he likes crepuscular rays, just like me Smile

1/320 sec, f9, ISO 200 probably handheld and with a ruler straight horizon (Mari!!) but that's prolly a fluke, eh...

Hope it brings you pleasure. Large is a must for the detail if you have the time and bandwidth (sorry Tooth)...

All comments most welcome,
Cheers, Goggz

Certainly is an interesting twilight skylight (can I say that and not be considered completely mad). Very nice use of the rays - a cold harsh and unforgiving light beautifuly captured

Has to be said this definitely needs the large treatment. The small version does it no justice at all.
Great shot.

Yeah, definitely. It's a bit dark as a thumb so I guess a fair few won't bother checking it out. Never mind, there are some others in the pipeline...

Ta for the comment Paul!

@ tooth - great news!! Now you can see it huge Smile
