well I had to consult dictionary.. I was confused with assent.. 
and only now after opening this, I see it is yours..
really difficult to relate the image with the title..
all I know is.. relating it with women.. and about relationships.. it is really difficult to find someone who gives himself to you without asking any question, unconditionally, and without thinking about the consequences.. who only thinks about them and nothing else.. and who is almost devoted.. who erases every difference that lies in between.. a man who practically sees nothing but you.. who has walked so much to meet you.. and who wishes to change himself to fit in your life.. whose priority in life is you and your happiness..
and one who knows practically nothing about you.. but he treats this question as secondary because love happened before that..

Willie - I nearly called this one 'Deep Blue Something', but changed it at the last minute. I think the emotion behind the title is how it's sometimes difficult for women to claw their way upwards and out of whatever situation is holding them back at any given point. Whether it's work, emotions, relationships or just the everyday ***** of life, I think for me it was about no matter how parched, cracked and seemingly impossible it might feel at the time, the instinct is to always reach upwards towards the light.
And apart from that, everyone goes on about The Ascent of Man as an evolutionary thing (even though it really refers to 'mankind', i.e. both men and women), I thought I'd give that one a flip and make it just about women
I was debating putting something between the thumb and forefinger ... like a light or something along those lines, but maybe I should have added a small tube of hand cream instead ??
