Award Shortlist

Good morning all - 2 baby owls born in April living in their own little "hotel" so were difficult to photograph as it was through glass, but want to share with you as they are so lovely. As regards the new voting till I see how it's working I'm staying as I am - quite a bit of discussion will arise no doubt! As always I am very appreciative that you take time to visit me and look forward to what you have to say. J.

V2 for me, it's a pity about the reflection of the glass in v1 but it is difficult. May I suggest using a circular polarising filter when photographing through glass. They are cute though, beautiful Owls.

Thanks Steve for the tip about using the circular polarising filter - know my husband has one so it's a case of a little thieving or being independant and getting my own!

You can borrow my polarising filter - at a price unspecified!!
Because of the glass relections in v1, I go for v2. The detail is quite staggering.
