Just back from an enjoyable coach tour taking in Prague, Budapest and Vienna. This is The Belvedere in Vienna, a Summer palace built in the early 1700's for Prince Eugen of Savoy.

Thanks for looking. Hope to catch up with all my commenting over the next couple of days.

Love this. I really like straight-on architecture shots. The detail is amazing and the reflections just great - and it's helped by the lack of people directly in front of the building. Good one.

Excellent image, David, the colours and reflections are great. Have you thought of cropping out the actual building and inverting the remainder?

Hmmm, looking at your itinerary I suspect we may be seeing some fairly spectacular door shots...
Love this, particularly the reflections of the green roof tones.

A brochure picture. That's not derogatory, I've tried to emulate brochure pictures and it isn't easy. I love the architecture here, and especially the glorious reflection. I think the clear blue sky enhances the clean lines and simplicity of the image.

Wonderfully detailed image Dave. The roof top colour and its reflections in the water make this for me.

Excellent use of the Flaming pear "Flood" filter here Dave. You would'nt know there was an 8 lane autobahn in front of this building in reality.

I like the symmetry and the diddy little figures to give a sense of the size of the place. Or have you used the Flaming Pear "Pygmies" plugin?
