One of my favourite locations - I used to live nearby, and most summers went to get shots like this. I can understand your frustration with the strengthening work - I call it the Alan on holiday rule. "Every building or structure I want to photograph will have scaffolding on it somewhere, usually on the most photogenic aspect."

Cant see why you dont feel its not sharp enough, certainly dosnt look over processed like a lot on here these days.

I remember visiting here on a Camera Club outing to Shrewsbury several years ago. It's a magnificent bridge, and this is a magnificent capture of it too, Lesley

See!!!! I knew there must be a shot here and you have got one. I love the composition. It is very strong indeed with the lovely reflections. The sky is nice, but there is a sunrise / sunset shot with dramatic sky here too. You'll just have to go back several times until you get THE shot. But in the meantime, this is wonderful.
