I always thought it was the job of parents to feed children, not schools or the government. We have had free school lunches for all in Scotland for a number of years now. One of our great leader's vote winning ploys but one that I strongly disagree with. Mind you, I disagree with most that she advocates although I do think she has a better grip of virus control than Boris. Anyway, rant over. This is a beautiful scene Ju and I hope the beach stays empty during half term.

Beautiful, lets hope it stays that way this week. I can understand residents concerns, I find supermarket shopping stressful and I'm not going far at the moment, but would love to be able to get a few days away.

In Scotland our schools go back tomorrow, but during the summer and break times they have free meals if they qualify. Back to your photograph - A nice summer scene, with almost deserted beaches, and hopefully no coronavirus going about, in such an idyllic scene.

As to school dinners during the holidays. I thought the government paid for housing, bills etc for those that needed it. I remember the free milk at school. Horrid in the Summer when it sat out in the sun. That got stopped that was suppose to give us kids strong bones. Debs
