The Cat

Well I have been away for a couple of weeks to Mauritius and I lugged all my gear over there as well! So unfortunately you are now going to have put up with a whole host of shots from the trip....of sun, sea and sand.

Here is the first shot which is rather an abstract one to open up this portfolio. The hotel we stayed at had a whole host of watersports on offer, of which using a hobbycat was one. It was the cleanliness of the lines and the colours that caught my eye with this one and the great detail of the stanchion. All comments welcome.

Great shot Stuart. The gorgeous colours drew me to the thumbnail initially and it was a very welcome surprise to see an alternative and original shot when I saw the whole thing. Very nice indeed.

Lovely colours and I like the narrow focus plane but I think the comp could be improved by positioning the focus point on one of the 'thirds'.
