The Claire Visit...Part 6

By ChiliMan
Gosh…sorry for the long gap between the last upload and this one. Major health problems hit me last week and I’ve been pre-occupied with those. Far from resolved but they’re being tended to. What a way to start the new year, eh? BUT…better when things are caught earlier rather than later. Another upside is I’ve lost 3-3.5 lbs in a week Grin

Ok…enough of all that and ON with the Claire Visit series…

So Claire and I were walking around Serangoon Road (Little India) and we visited one of the Hindu temples where I took some pics. This is the door to one of the temples. Pretty cool door, huh?? V2 is a close-up of one of them bells.

I hope everyone is in the best of health Smile

Wow! Love that door. Knew immediately from the thumbnail who had posted this. Again, so love the sense of pattern in V1. The details and textures in both images are wonderful.

Sad indeed to learn you have been unwell and hope you make a swift recovery, Andrew.

V2 is simply superb, but thanks for adding V1 as explanantion and it's good in its own right.
I was looking at the thumbnail for a bit, trying to work out the scale. Even opening the image still leaves that as a ambiguous. Gives a sense of mystery.

That is indeed a very cool door - beautifully crafted and gorgeous patina on the wood. Like the little bells too. I can imagine them ringing when one opens the door.
