The Crossing

By keithh
I know it's more Bolton Priory, but was looking for something to try on the new e2 club.
Decided to go the whole hog and allow people to play with it.

I really don't think anyone needs to play with it Keith. This is truly remarkable. Love the lines made by the flowing water.

Damn I thought I was going to get the first clik in then you deleted it Sad

Being picky I am not to sure about that leaf right at the bottom of the frame. But that is being really really picky.

The larger version really brings out the texture in the water and sky Keith. Really looking forward to seeing some more of your stuff at 1000pix!

mmmmm? larger version isn't as sharp as I would have liked it....had to compress down to 50% and there is some pixelation.

Water definitely looks better at the larger size. Have the same compression problem with the owl pics as there is so much detail in the feathers, etc. Often end up at 50%, so they don't always look their best.

Might come back to it later and add a pink sky Wink

There are a lot of lines in this which draw your eyes to many different parts of the shot, making you take it all in, I particularly like the placement of the arch in the frame.

1st class image Keith. Great dof and colour. For me the red leaves bottom right catch my eye a bit to much. If you don't mind I might have a go at removing them.
