Terrific example of how a simple subject can turn into a great photo.

Classic answer! That made me laugh out loud!!! Grin Grin Grin

This is a superb image in my opinion mostly because (a) I love crows, 'pies, 'daws and all the other mystical carrion birds and (b) the processing you've gone with for this image is just so subdued and effective.

Can I just please, please, please request one tiny thing? That you either tone down or remove completely that highlighted curve on the top of the far right post, as it's the first thing that caught my eye. Jumped there straight away.

Other than that very minor niggle, this is an image that I'd have loved to have taken myself and have in my portfolio. It's the kind of image that, if on a book cover, I'd pick it up just to read what the book is about, based on that cover image. Have you tried a square crop with this, so it's just the two posts, the horizontal rail underneath and the crow/'daw on the left hand side? Might work, might not?

Hi Tanya

Thank you for the feedback Smile I agree about the bright curve on the far right post. With that in mind, I've uploaded a variant with a slightly different crop. I think this one works a little better.

I think the tweaked version works very well, Trevor. I still love it Smile
