The Day Time Forgot

By chase
At the risk of boring you, another from my session with time stuff.
The large skull is a Deer, found under some bushes, the little one is a bird of some sort found in my garden, the 'jaw' is from a Pike, caught in a local pond....the rest is..... time.

Taken in daylight camera left.
3 frames combined in Lightroom, finished in Photofaffshop.

Thanks for dropping by.
Constructive critique and mods welcome.
Janet xx

Very fine processing here, somber enough message though, a bit like the old Ďmemento morií verge fusee pocket watches of the 18th century, with their skull-engraved cases. Interesting pike skull, donít think Iíve ever seen one before 👌

Another dark and fascinating image. Skulls and bones are always so interesting. I like the link to the previous image via the blue sand and totally intrigued by the pike jawbone!

Award is on its way!

Fabulous arrangement, so much there but still not overcluttered.
Love the placement of the moth.
Beautiful again Janet!

A fine set-up, Janet. The connection between time which has run out and the skulls is perfect. My only doubt is the brightness of the blue sand, I think it would be better if toned down a bit as it does hold our attention rather. But that's just me.Smile

I'm tending to agree with Malc about the bright blue sand, but it's another wonderful quality still-life, Janet 👍 You can 'bore' me with some more!! 😃😃

Another grim arrangement reminding us of mortality and the relentless passing of time.
I've done a mod to tone down the blue sand, using a control point in DxO PhotoLab, what do you think , Janet?
