The Deal

By ade_mcfade
A little bit of acting out a scenario, a bit of lighting from me, including a red gelled flash, and a 70-200 @ f2.8 and you get some interesting results - sometimes.

I quite like this - Anthony looking all dodgy in the background, Rocco in the foreground

Quite like this too, although I feel the highlights on Anthony's glasses a little distracting. IMO.

Works very well and out of focus second figure adds everything to this super photo...

Your right, yet it draws my eye away from Rocco, who I feel is the main subject. Apologies if i've offended, it was an observation more than criticism.

Will try to do mod later today to compare.

no no no - not offended at all Phil, thanks for pointing it out.

I was just thinking aloud there - if you're so focussed on Rocco, you may miss Anthony in the background, so I was thinking that little catchlight pings out at you and says "look at me!" Smile

cheers Phil

great working with these 2 - they were acting things out slowlt, moving all the time, so the light was changing all the time - you get far more dynamic images than just posing. You also get more blurred shots at F2.8 though Sad

superb, I actually think the white dot pulls me back to the subject - Jonathan
