Thanks Alan, yes the banding is something I just cant get rid of! Its frustrating the life out of me, the sky is painted black then a soft edged white brush at just 1% opacity and painted over no more than 3 times to just lift part of the sky from being pure black, then the banding occurs, I've tried everything, 8bit, 16 bit image, any ideas to get rid would be appreciated. Excellent image and top processing. As for banding I hardly noticed it only when you zoom in but the dark tone of the sky masks it to a large extent .Andy😊

A stunning shot, Phil, excellent composition and very nicely processed. I can't see any banding in the sky at all, either at normal size or viewed large, and I'm viewing on my laptop which has HD screen resolution Smile

Very strange is the banding from the comments above, some see it others dont, thanks for the comments so far. I think it depends on the device you are using to view it, I edit on a Windows 10 desktop PC with Asus monitor at 1920 x 1200 resolution, I thinks its the resolution thats the issue, I say issue, the issue is my editing!

I didn't see the banding until I viewed it large. I wouldn't worry too much about it as it is quite minimal and doesn't take away anything from the image which is excellentWink
