Thank you for all the lovely messages and clicks on my previous image, it is so encouraging.
While on the same trip I managed a nice walk up one of the hills near Festiniog, and it was a lovely sunny warm day, I so enjoyed reaching the top with the sky larks and the gorse, the blue sky and the scenery, but what a delight it was to find this lovely waterfall on the return journey. We could hear the water gushing and found the nearby stream - Cliff followed it down to this and encouraged me to follow, - and was so pleased that I did. Firstly we found the "Primrose Tree" of my earlier upload and then this. The fall was about as high as a bungalow and dropped down in two levels, this it the lower part of it. I did get some full length shots but the surrounding trees were casting too much shadow which as a photo is too much of a distraction. I quite like the close up one here as the rocks on the far side were strewn with little primroses. I have tried to capture the beauty of the moment - not sure if I have done it justice so over to you
