THE DEMOLITION MAN

By hobbo
Occasionally during my daily wanders into town, something inside, rather than outside a building will attract my eye, then my lens.
Usually it is a shopkeeper dressing a window display, or just cleaning the glass...

.... The other day it was different, a local shop was being completely stripped of plaster and decoration, prior to a complete re-fit....the demolition guys were hard at work in clouds of dust with hammers and crow-bars.

A mono conversion, finished using the KODAK TRI-X mono-film filter in Nik Silver Efex....this adds the right kind of grain to a mono study.

Very familiar scene for me, as an architect, I can say that is excellently framed, and processed, with a little mysterious atmosphere!
