The Devil's Staircase Glencoe

By bill33
Another older image taken September 2010, from aprox 1500 ft. The Devils staircase is part of the West Highland Way. This view looks over towards the Black water Dam on the right of the photograph. The early morning sunlight breaking between the clouds created some amazing colours and shadows on the hillside. Once again my thanks to everyone for your kind comments on my images, they are very much appreciated. Bill.

Wonderful light and shadows, Bill, and so much depth. Excellent work. Had plans to do this walk about 20yrs ago but it never came off Sad.

Great shot - esp DOF and patterns of light
One of the many marvellous views to be seen walking Scotland. The light is delightful and makes the climb up this path all so worth while when the vista opens up and the mountains sparkle like this.

Really good shot with plenty of colourand depth. I'll be up there in a couple of weeks.
