Classic! And interesting too in that the foreground 'lead-in' is actually leading out, creates a sort of tension. Very strong image.

Thanks very much everyone Smile
Ed - was at 12mm, the swan was so close that I almost fell over backwards - have to admit that I'm not very happy being close-up to any bird, they freak me out somewhat!!

Malc - "The Doorman" what a great title thank you - am going to change it now!

Tea at the village pub was lovely, good chat with the Landlord - seems that I may now have an outlet to display some of my work Smile

The swan turning its back on the castle, uninterested in its beauty and historic importance, this is just where it lives, so what? Whereas we would have to pay a king's ransom to live in such surroundings. Fabulous image Smile

Hi Sarah

It's the first time I've been on ePz for weeks so have only just seen the wonderful images you took at Hever Castle. It was good to catch up with you there the other week.
Just wanted to let you know the Video Diary I filmed is now on the Hever Castle website home page - take a look if you get a minute. Things still very busy there and I've just finished the second Video Diary which should be on the site tomorrow or next Mon. Having to learn fast!
Hope all is well with you. It's fantastic to see the sunshine at last, and the gardens at Hever are looking beautiful. If you get chance to visit again in the coming weeks be sure to give me a call so we can meet for coffee.

Best wishes
