Firstly, I think this is a most interesting and attractive shot.
If it were mine, I would crop it to just below the skyline. Then I would sharpen it a bit and work with the curves tool to adjust the contrast a bit. I think it would look better a bit more stark. It suggests a futuristic landscape and I would play with that aspect of it. I tried to download it so I could put up a mod, but was not able to. I'll look forward to seeing what you and others do with this.

I entirely agree with Joline about excluding the sky - I'd restore, more or less, the original format by cropping at the bottom as well.

I've opened the shadows up a bit in my mod, and tried burning in a little in the top left area. I'm not sure if the lightness is the result of distance haze, or maybe a touch of flare... Can you confirm that the lens was clean and you had the lens hood on and hte right way round? Essential for shots like this, and a black card to hold just out of frame to provide extra shade can be an asset, too.

I suspect there are a lot of different composition to play with there: and the lovely, raking light will make the most of all of them.

Shooting into the Sun has caused some problems it seems. Did you use an in-camera filter?

Yes, I agree with Dudler re the crop.
