The Dragon's Back

By MrsS
Happy New Year to you all - - - welcome to 2008!

Up on Carrhead rocks the other day with the founders of Peak-Light and my wonderful 'other half', having spotted and shot the "Dragon Rock", and there being a total absence of light as such, it crossed my mind that it might be interesting to see what the view would be like if you were to sit on the back of the Dragon and go for a fly around the area - yes, I do know how weird I am!

Anyway, once I'd had the thought, I simply had to implement it Smile

So here it is. I left the rocks in on the right as I really like the colours and textures and that little splash of water in the rockpool.

There really is lots to see, tantalising glimpes of the valley, the cement works and lots of hills that Mr West told us the names of, but I can only remember that one of them is Mam Tor.

Thanks for looking, I do hope you like it, I'm sure you will let me know, off to eat loaaads now and spend the day coming round after last night's celebrations Smile
