The Duck Shed

By John_Horner
We went in search of Snow.
Yes! Chant and I went in search of snow yesterday and headed up into weardale toward Hamsterly Forest.
This shed stands in the grounds of Hamsterly and houses ducks. As the ducks hear your car pull up they come rushing out toward you. I guess they think its feed time everytime.
I just liked the rustic features of the shed and the way the snow was starting to lay on the broken gate and fence posts.
We had a wonderful day even if our lenses did keep fogging up with condensation.
Had a wonderful meal and finished up as wedding crashers almost, but thats another story.

Thanks for looking. Hope you have a fine day and keep warm.

Thank you Chant for a super time.

this has turned out so very well John, with super detail, texture colour and tones in the Duck Shed, the falling snow enhances the image too, An excellent wintry scene that is beautifully composed.
Thanks for a great day, good company, good food, and the wedding was..erm......different! haha

This is very good john, it has the look of the HDR effect, I might crop a tad tighter top and bottom but thats me, cracking stuff.

I like this John, almost looks like an illustration for a book perhaps. The falling snow really does add to an already wintery looking scene.
