The Early Morning Dog Club Post 2

By LynneJoyce
Again, not photographically brilliant because they were taken with the compact and all except the opener were taken at high shutter speed in very murky conditions but the point in this post is to continue to tell a story. This is about the early morning dog club, group who met during lockdown and who have all become firm friends - humans and dogs.

The opener shows my two refusing to leave the field adjacent to Hirst Woods until they are joined by one of their mates. Vs 1 and 14 feature Otis who became obsessed with humping Ansel and who has been castrated since these photos were taken. V14 was taken as a memorial to the bits that were about to be removed. The rest show the various canine activities that keep the dogs exercised and entertained.

I cannot describe how valuable this informal group has been to me during lockdown. Being a family free widow, the conversations I have here are often the only ones I get all day and attendance here means that every day starts with fun for me and the boys.

A lovely set Lynne. They do become such good friends and look forward to these mornings. I was out with my friend the other day walking her dog. And the same thing...Graysea got so excited when she met her friends.

|It is so nice to see that you have kept up with your Dogie group Lynn,.Animals or pets do become part of your family and obviously these friends are a large part of yours.
I am sure they have put many smile upon your face as they would have the owners.

I imagine what the interaction has done for the animals...John

Great fun,..Dogs are interesting animals,.. there is a little dog in this area, she(he) doesn't like trailer or odd shaped vehicles on the street(we later worked it out),.. While she walks, she keeps looking back the on coming vehicles, if any vehicle doesn't fit in her specification, she goes mad at it,.. It's good she has collar on. Over ten year,... she is still the same.Grin
