The Empty Stage

By sherlob

A slightly earlier 1/52 post from me this week. Looking at the weekend ahead I doubt I'll find time for much in the way of photography, but I did manage a shoot on Wednesday evening. The conditions weren't the best (I missed some superb light on Tuesday), but still you do what you can with what you have - and for me a cloudy evening with minimal definition often offers suitable conditions for long exposure surrealism. In this case a 5min exposure - although personally I feel this lacks pop.

I understand your comment about lacking pop, Adam, but the image is rescued by the gently intense blue of the water, and for me the diagonal direction of the light in the sky.
