I'd read your blurb before writing my comments on the donkey photo.
I don't feel you as such a controversal person, I meet in my business much more complicated people than you are.
As the majority of us, you are trying to find your role in this world and express your self to be noticed by others includig ephotozine members.
It's normal.
I wish you to find your sector in the art and life as soon as you can.
Last word: in all you look at try to find the nicest he/she has or might have.
Develop your nice photos and do it regularly and you will be there, where the Lord prepared for you!
Cheers, Brother

Hi Matthys, clicked and had to run earlier as I was in a bit of a rush - this is a very unusual image and reminds me a bit of the artist, Rousseau's work. It has a very painterly and escapist mood to it - If I was being hyper critical I would say that perhaps a tad more space at the bottom to give some room around the donkey' legs might look better and less cramped - interesting overall image though

Thanks all for your great comments. This wacky series literally exploded on me as I did something I don't really like - fiddle with PS. If nothing else, at least I learnt a few things about PS that might come in useful one day!

Maggie - as usual, you're right (rats!). It's one of those "Now why didn't I see that myself?" things. Thanks a lot Grin
George - what you say sounds awfully complicated to me. Sometimes, as Freud said, a "cigar is just a cigar". That is to say, maybe I'm just having fun (I even categorised this one under Humour/fun!). And yes, if people like my stuff, I'm chuffed - who wouldn't be?

As far as the 'sector' is concerned, I hope to God I never find it. I've always been a free spirit and intend staying that way!

Take care all

Hi Matthys, this is an excellent series and i like this,it is a great way of learning and having fun in ps and also doing something different from the usual.I think this would look good in a childrens book.I am enjoying dreaming along with your photographs.Excellent work and series.Take care.AnnSmile
