The Evidence

7th March 2021 Police Specials set up an operation to deal with speed enforcement and breaches of motoring law in the Pimhole area of Bury. Along with speeding they also found illegal window tints, failure to insure, seat belt offences, and two arrests for drug driving, both followoing pursuits by car or on foot. Here the officers are holding the evidence bag with the positive drug test in it.

John Duder asked for the Scandi Noir version of events, so here it is.

I'd anticipated one of your nighttime shots, with rainy mean streets, down which a man must walk who is not himself mean...

Excellent and impactful with the mono treatment.

Moments that are critical impoerant in evidense gathering seem often overlooked but her it highlight the process. Mono tells the story.

The mono rework was a response to a joke.

After giving it the 1980s Tri X look, I brightened the area round the evidence bag, added clarity, then removed distracting highlights in the periphery.

Yesterday I was wandering round a graveyard in biting wind, as police investigated the body of a man found there.
