The Fairies Are Hiding

By LynneJoyce
I'm back after a series after an unfortunate happenings. First Norovirus that wiped me out after the lovely holiday in Portugal with Isabel. A brief respite in London to see Chihuly nights was closely followed by another virus, a nasty, feverish cold this time. Then when I was ready to be up and at them again, BT messed up my broadband installation so I was without an internet connection for several days. Add to all that Adobe products kept crashing so I was unable to edit photos.

The thing I love about Autumn here in the UK is tramping the woods in my waterproof gear with Ansel and capturing the Fungi as they appear. It is well worth getting soggy for. Here are some of my Autumnal captures. They range from minuscule ones as in the opener to the hefty beasts that feature in versions 3, 8 and 11.

Sadly the Fairies are conspicuous by their absence even though both dog walks on which these were taken are not far from Cottingley. I'll keep a close eye just in case they appear.

Thank you for viewing and I hope that you enjoy at least some of these Autumnal beauties.

I'm not usually one drawn to fungi but I'm so glad I took a long look at your collection Lynne! A very nice set indeed, and each one is worthy of its own individual upload.....beautiful work😄.

Beautiful set Lynne Joyce! I like the low point of view on many of them.
This low point of view is not for everyone Smile

You should know that fairies go into hiding when they sense dogs and cameras around!

You have managed to capture a fair variety of fruits on the forest floor, Lynne, including Inkcaps, Sulphur Tufts, a bolete, some brackets and a Stinkhorn (minus it's global cap coating).
Nice work.
Sorry to hear of all your woes.......hope you are feeling fully restored and that your internet connection remains up and running.
