The Fairy Pools

By AngieLatham
Still on the Isle of Skye and a rare mono for me.
These are a small part of the Fairy Pools on Skye, an amazing place to explore and I diden't get enough time there and will haveto return as soon as I can!
The water and pools are a bright turquoise colour due to the mineral deposits in the rocks, which give a stark and enchanting contrast to the towering jagged edges of the Black Cuillins above them.

I have put map locations for Richard Wheeler and posse Wink

Have a great day everyone Smile

Love the drama of the mono - but the colours in the others are so amazing...! Would the minerals be copper, by any chance? would explain blue and red, also healing powers, though folklore is a funny thing...
