You have a talent for winter photos. I like them very much! (snow pictures are very difficult )
Do not go out too far to take pictures, I understand that there comes a wave of unprecedented cold, it will go to Florida and Mexico, then turns to you and to Maine (after which it seems, to my horror, that it wants to cross the Atlantic!) GrinGrinGrinGrin
And a very small suggestion, if interested: I tried to accentuate the contrast and I did it monochrome; maybee you'll try yourself and see if you like it too...

You are experiencing such severe weather Joline, but it has great beauty. We on the other hand are having gales and flooding (not in my town, thank goodness) - think I know which I prefer! Just keep warm.

The fence looks like it is weighed down with the snow!
Still no snow over here. So enjoy yours in between keeping warm!

Yet more snow Joline. Everyone comments on it beauty, but living with it constantly can't be easy. GrinGrin Peter.

It is significant to note that the snow cover is almost up to the top of the fences-- and it is only January-- Carry on Brave Friend!

As a teen I liked to ski down a ?mountain where I lived in NYS. We should get someone to five us up to Old Mrs. Macmaster's cabin-- and proceed to cross country across pastures and on down .
Two great hazards on the way-- one had to be careful not to be going too fast as one approached the road---and one had to be careful NOT to trip up on a well hidden top fence wire!
Easy to slide slip the road but the fence meant a whole refit and exhaustion!

I would not want to give birth in the height of Summer either Joline !!

Good wintery shot.

This is my favourite kind of photography, Joline. It's truthful. It lives in the real visual world, rather than some idealized one.
It has an unglamorous, matter-of-fact , lyrical beauty.
Great stuff.

What an amazing ammount of snow... Beautiful shot.
We have been watching here on TV the cold blanked over USA and Canada...
It does give a great scenery for photos... IB
