The Flight of the Stork...

By TerryMcK
A White Stork in flight before settling at my local Nature Reserve.
An "escapee" from an animal refuge after recovering from a leg injury. The bird seems to have made its home in the Cambridgeshire Fens where it is often seen at a variety of regular roosts.

My gratitude to those who responded to my previous feature, "Sunlit Teal." Special thanks to Richard, (rgg) for his valued UA.

Thank you, Ron. You might be interested to know that in Southern England there is project underway to re-introduce this magnificent bird in the UK. You might possibly be seeing one sooner than you thought. Smile
