The full Moon - 10.11.11

This photo was taken using a skywatcher 130p and Nikon D5100, unfortunately I could not get the Moon fully in the photo, slightly too big.

If you played with leavels a little bit..
You could get more detail with more tones..
May be a bit more in contrast as well...
Great image...

totally agree with Dave. also, if you took the photo in raw format you have a magical adjustment tool in Adobe Camera Raw, it's called CLARITY and does increase contrast only in the midtone range. You'll be amazed by learning how many details are still hidden in your shot (I have an example here http://www.flickr.com/photos/emmanuel_pi_konju/4782197269/in/set-72157623155766838/)
