The garden ladder

By helenlinda
Thanks so much to Dave for his mod yesterday. I was thrilled to bits with it.
This was taken in Barbara's garden on the evening of her retirement party (it was her flower that I uploaded yesterday)
Rachel, whose legs are just in the shot, was walking down the garden with me and said, "havn't you taken a photo of the ladder". Getting good at suggesting shots is Rachel. I'm going to have to work on her and get her started over the summer!!
So here's the ladder, leaning on the fence................its a ladder, what more can I say!!
Thanks for looking

It's a ladder, it's also a great perspective exercise within an interesting crop!

Love the angle. This sort of shot tends to produce sharply divided opinions, I know there are some people who don't like extreme angles, but for me it gives a whole new view of a familiar, 'normal' scene. It's dynamic and exciting.
My only quibble is the pale blurred area botton left, which doesn't seem to be part of the picture, but was probably unavoidable!

Thanks everyone.
Yes Moira it was unavoidable, and I certainly have not spent long on processing this one, otherwise I could have done some cloning. I cropped as much out as I could, but did not want to go in any tighter. As it was I was unsure as to whether square would work anyway. Thanks for your comment though

Great shot, we have a ladder as a fence to stop the dogs getting on the garden, great idea. Great angle.
