Revolutionising Tripods: The Benro Theta Is An Auto-Levelling Travel Tripod

The Gig 5

By mrswoolybill
Sorry, Mick, you’re not going to like this...
I hadn’t intended to give this young man any more publicity, in case it goes to his head. But Joline and Anne (wefi) seemed to find him quite easy on the eye the other day...
So here, once again, is James, from the Bogus Callers ceilidh band, posing for all he’s worth. And knocking back the vino.
And after him - two new faces. #3 - Judith is the caller, and hates having her photograph taken so I had to be sneaky. #4 - Paul is not a wannabe country singer. He’s the area fund raiser for Cry in the Dark, and was running the evening.
View Large if you have nothing better to do. Mick won’t thank you.
Thanks for looking,
Moira

Thanks to everyone who clicked and commented on the Black Bull yesterday. I have a few more old pubs to come. But a horrible confession - I don't actually like beer...

So this is one for the girls then?
Pubs sell a lot of things as well as beer Moira, not a crime.
Lucky the poser isn't made of chocolate...

All the very best

wondered when you would bow to peer pressure on this moira! he doesn't do anything for me though i like his guitar. by the way i didn't take my cameras with me to that 100 club gig so no shots coming there. just been back in the classroom trying to get to grips with my new machine. wow its full of tricks that will put demands on the most finely tuned memory which leaves me wondering!

Smile She says it better than I do.
Aside from that, four very good candids, all well composed. Based strictly on composition, it will have to be v1.

Lovely set of images but No. 1 is fabulous. I like his pose and his expression (wonder what he's thinking). Sharp, strong image.

Marilyn, he was just being so vain! He turned round after this for me to photograph his pert rear aspect but I refused. I don't humour men to that extent!

All is forgiven Moira after hearing your refusal to photograph his ''pert rear''.I would have done the same with ''Miss Hotpants''--(funny thing there,my nose has just touched my monitor screen!!!) Actually, they are rather good captures of ''THE MAN''.And truth be told,I would be very happy to be only half as good looking as him!!As for Judith, love her jacket.Looks a bit ''stern'' tho'.!! And yes Paul does look like Pete Waterman. But without doubt,''I love me,who do you love. And if I was made of chocolate I would eat myself all up leaving bugger all for you!!!! IS the star of the show.

Moira, once again I'm late on the scene, but have really enjoyed this small documentary. I'd like to see the bass player in action (did I miss one?) - in my own experience they can become very animated whilst providing the most subtle of backing sounds.

Excellent photography, Mike.

A super series Moira, his popularity has grown tenfold since he first appeared on epz, I think he should buy you a drink for getting the band some new fans! I love v4, so that's what happened to Timmy Mallet! lol

Now there's a shy, retiring young man! Is it the drink or is he always like that? Love Judith's fabulous red jacket in V3 and paul's outfit in V4. Great set of shots.
