The Gold smith No2

By dusfim
This is another Upload of the gold smith. As You can see it is a small underground shop In Valletta Malta. His main job is to repair gold articles. You can observ the Arch and part of the staircase to go down. I have done my best because of limit space.

I like the intimacy of this image, like peeking into his shop. The portrait of the Virgin caught my eye right away. You have shown a bit of his personality. Well done.

Thanks to your comments I really appreciate, thanks from my heart. One thing is which worries I don't know when I feel it is a good photo all I receive a very few comments. Some times I feel that If I don't brush your back you don't brush mine. These last few days I was very short of time on my PC so I couldn't comment on others photo I think its one of the problem.

Hi Mario, its a fact that there are so many pictures on here each day it is impossible to look at them all and comment and sort out your pictures to put up ,we tried it and you finish just putting nice shot on all the shots because you dont have time . then you stop learning because you dont have time to study the work that others put up.getting lots of votes is great but it becomes hard work.you have learned a lot from the people on here and it shows, you are the biggest judge of your own work, there are a lot of people on here who dont get as many votes as me who are better photgraphers than me i dont think they are bothered, because, they have confidence in themselves.i look at their work and try very hard to learn from it ,enjoying what you do is the most important thing and trying to get better is crucial.keep doing what you are doing and look back sometimes to see how far you have come.

Best wishes to you and yours Neil.

Hello Mario, what Neil says here goes for me too. Love getting clicks and comments but at the same time I know there are some real great shots which seem to get less votes. I've seen many excellent shots and come across some real good photographers. I also noticed that not all great images get what they deserve but my request to them is "please do not stop uploading your great work"...... for beginners and enthusiasts like me these images are great sources of inspiration and learning.... and... oh... there seems to be so much to learn!

With best regards.
