The Gondoliers

Just a short distance north of the Rialto bridge as I was walking alongside the Grand Canal, close to the fish and vegetable markets, I spotted these two gondoliers stood chatting, so grabbed a couple of quick candids. Think I've been spotted in the version! Wink

Raw images processed in Adobe Camera Raw, tweaked in Nik Collection's Viveza 2 and Photoshop Elements 14.

Good bit of local interest here, Trev, and as you say you are getting a glance from one of the gondoliers and from his face it's difficult to know what he is thinking.

the usual Gondoliers..attitude! if you are not going with them...!
annoying really, as if us tourists were not there...they would not
have a living!!..so why be so rude ..turn away or scowl
anyway, this time I got a lovely man and will put on soonWink

I love the contrast between the two excellent captures, Trev.
As well as the gondolier that spotted you, I love the expression of the other chap - looks like he's about to burst into song.
