The Highcliff's of Highcliff Manor.

By Tooma

"This portrait of the current residents of Highcliff Manor, hangs on the wall of the main staircase. The same one glimpsed in the portrait. What was not meant to be part of the portrait was the unwelcome third party, lurking underneath the staircase, its hand reaching around the antique chair that Lord Hunter sits on. Is it grasping the chair, or is it extending its awful fingers towards Lady Verity? Whatever its grisly reason is for appearing in the photograph , it is yet another unwelcome guest of Highcliff Manor."

Better shut the windows to night-- maybe even lock the tight!

I fear it may well be the hand of the notorious jewellry thief, Light Finger Lenny, after that impressive sparkler on the hand of the lovely Lady Verity. Fortunately the presence of the indomitable Lord Highcliff should thwart the scoundrels dastardly and nefarious plan.

Hope there is to be many more 'from Mo s' in this series, they are both classy and fun ( now that reminds me of Delores Ladylumps, a woman of distinction who, due to enforced reduced circumstances from a rather dubious and somewhat risky investment portfolio, worked behind the bar of The Frisky Mare public house. Her finishing school accent, and her penchant for beefcake from the lower orders certainly earned her that description.)

Hope all is well north of the border,Smile

A family portrait of the Lord and Lady of the Manor bedecked in the family jewels and looking slightly smug and nicely framed. It must be all their wealth? Good un!!
