The Journey to The Amazing Orange Tree

By Fefe
Today's image is from Cockington Forge in Torquay Devon and was taken in late October last year.
While there I saw an amazing Orange tree, just a few yards from this spot although I didn't manage a great shot as there was always someone in the darn wayTongueTongueTongue.....so versions are what I managed but I do prefer the lead here....which is not the Amazing Orange Tree Wink
Incidentally I have no idea what kind of tree the orange tree is...I have never seen one before.

A great big thank you for all recent C&C and special Thank you's to Len1950, Leo_nid, kuvailija, Mike9005, Johnriley1uk, Granddad, BillRookery, Holmewood, saxon-image, Sylviwhalley, Dickspics, franken and Les_Cornwell for the wonderful UA's.....so chuffed!

I think your Orange tree is merely a bog-standard, common-or-garden tree that has been left out in the rain and rusted.Wink

Like the framing in v1.

I sincerely doubt it, merely autumnal colours. I don't have green (nor orange) fingers so can't help with the identification, but have a sneaking suspicion it may be a Japanese something or another, as it resembles one we have - although ours is a bush, not a tree.

Definitely rusty!!!! 😁 Beautiful set of images from Cockington, Diane, it's many years since I was last there - was pre-digital, so must have been before 2002. Have to go for the lead as my fave for the lovely light and shadows, with V3 a close second 👍👍

It makes a colourful spectacle but if it was in my garden I might be a tad worried! Your last version shows the needles of a fir/pine tree. Although not all pine trees are evergreen (the larch puts on an amazing yellow display in Autumn) I think this may be firewood indeed. Sorry.

Beautiful series, I think by the look of those lovely orange leaves it is some kind of larch.
