The Kingfisher

By SUE118
It's taken me 30 years to get a shot of a Kingfisher. I spotted it at Mansbridge and watched it dive twice before taking off. I shared the moment with 2 other people who had never seen one before. I cycled home with a huge smile on my face. What a bird and what a special moment for me.

I feel your joy - I've only seen a few but never got a close up.
Now you know where to find a kingfisher you can go back for more!
