Hey I think is a nice photo, she could be thinking of home far away or maybe thinking of a better life elsewhere which we all do.

Hi Pradyoth, the image is nicely composed, though i think you need to watch the exposure here, the whites in the wave seem to be overexposed a bit, though i think the comp is ok, it can be further improved if you had placed the lady a bit away from the edge of the frame maybe you can experiment with some crops to see what works best for you.

Cheers

Hello, Pradyoth. What a lovely image, having the lady looking out to sea is good, and her colourful clothing stands out well against the seascape. Because you have a blue EPZ background, your sky tends to blend in with it and almost becomes unnoticeable. The rock formation is interesting and I like the way you have used it for your foreground too. I have done a modification where I brightened the image, lifted shadows to give more light to the lady and rocks, then adjusted with curves. I cloned more sea into the sky area, removed the rocks behind her head and the wave that goes in front of her face, so that she now has a clean area around her head. I gave a bit of colour to the white wave on the right, but didn't have time to do the large one on the left. That burn-out on the waves is such a shame.
Pamela.

One secret I will like to share with you, the lady in this picture is my wife, and perhaps she is thinking how get rid of her shutter happy husband.

Nice composition and thus the basis of a fine shot. you could have tried a flash fill depending on range. Expose for the highlights in the breaking waves and use the flash to light the foreground. On camera flash is not used enough as fill in daylight. Should work.
