The Last Light

Taken on the 30th Dec last year at Crosby. The light on the way there was lovely, but the traffic was a nightmare leading to delays. By the time I arrived I was 45min behind schedule with a car full of fractious family and it looked as though it was going to rain. Thankfully, for a few moments the sun broke through for a final swan song...

One of my ex-pupils was involved in making them a permanent rather than temporary fixture. Every city should have something that draws people to it. Lovely photograph with a sense of peace and tranquility.
