I was about to ask if this was on the floor, then read the caption instead of jumping straight in. The clever lights go off when you leave the room is the principle I think Moira.

Thanks to everyone who's called in here. The library is nearing completion now, it's down to the cosmetic details. The next big story will be the moving-in (some time in late February)!

That lamp just radiates! Strong light draws you in. I'm very fond of strong light/shadow captures and this one is no exception. Well composed on the diagonal with curving diagonal shadows adding to the satisfaction of viewing this.

Ah but the walls are pristine and pure, without knowledge of Blue-tak or drawing pins even, who would be the first to defile them? I have pointed out that they are going to have to find a solution some time anyway, as there are things like town-twinning charters to be displayed. It's virgin territory as yet.

The building has a very nice balcony at second floor level, where Bill has already staked a claim to a position when the Olympic torch passes along the main street - I don't want to be banned from the building just yet!
Life is so much easier for people who can slip back behind the skirting board when they've finished work...
Great shot, Moira, nicely exposed and the bulb isn't burnt out (no pun intended!), and shows the glass in the bulb itself. Has provided some nice shadows, too
