a wee bit of history that I thought some might be interested in. This is obviously a scan of an old photo taken by my father in 1964. It shows the last day of the ferry running across the River Forth outside Edinburgh from South to North Queensferry. The ferry service was removed once the Forth Road Bridge opened.

Yes, thanks for the memory as I've been on that ferry, probably 1964 and before, if we didn't make the long drive round on our way to Elgin from London.
