The Last Post

Following on from yesterday's, this is a slightly different angle on the trumpeter – rather more sombre in b&w, I think.
This was taken during filming of our town's Remembrance Sunday service, for transmission online. It occurred to me that I would not have been able to get this view under normal circumstances, as I need to stand well back...

Yes - effective in black and white Moira. I like how the 'soldier' is looking over her shoulder. Nicely composed.

Thanks everyone. Looking over her shoulder, taking a sympathetic interest - that's how I see it.
In principle I prefer the composition here to yesterday's, but we both agreed that yesterday's has more emotional clout so that's the one going forward for a town calendar in the future.

Think this works better, being in mono there's no colour to distract the eye from the sculptured figure, which seems more dominating over the trumpeter 🎺👍
