Lol .... pesky rats.

Great idea and a good looking image Nick. Maybe the shadow under the plate is a touch heavy and maybe the rat could do with a bit more shadow to anchor him down. I feel that you've burned in the bottom edge of his left hand a wee bit much too.

Niggles apart though, good fun and very well put together.

Dave thanks for the comments - I will take them onboard when I print it off. Tho Ratty was in the original scene! (actually wish I'd taken him separately would have made the composite much easier. (agree he needs a fraction more shadow).

Not as difficult as it sounds - thanks to a taxidermist Wink

Meant to say on Dave's comment, the plate is more of a shallow pewter bowl, - it will be in a few images coming up (tho completely different to this). So part of the apparent shadow is the bowl depth, if that makes sense.
