The Late Visitor

Shot captured last Saturday afternoon in very low evening light down by the water's edge.

After a severely long very hot summer, last Saturday saw me heading back to our local nature reserve with the intention of doing some decent bird photography. Weather conditions still pretty summerish and birding activity almost at a standstill. Late evening I spotted this peculiar Duck flying in over the creek and managed a couple of shots as it alighted over the water ..... was actually quite pleased with this frame given the failing evening light.

Viewing large looks better.
