The Lizard Strikes.

By MossyOak
Find some grasshoppers, place them in a warm log pile and sit back and wait.
Eventually these crafty, scaley creatures appear from there hiding places and strike.
Preperation is the key and a comfy seat as you can wait along time for them to come out from the shadows and strike and then disappear again, to work out their next form of attack.Wink

Natural framing from some foliage in the forground and shallow dof.

Poor hoppers, Richard, have you no compassion for these soon-to-be-dinner critters? Wink A top notch capture, both by yourself and by Lizzie Smile Carol

Superbly detailed and timed, Richard. Razor sharp of lizard and prey and the shallow DOF makes this image really dramatic!
